ACA Laserformes – Studio Services
ACA / Laserformes have a valuable asset in its in-house studio. Although a relatively recent acquisition from a long established business (Scottish Studios) it has quickly become an integral part of the company with both positive internal and external benefits.Its services incorporate the following range of activities:- • Comprehensive MAC and PC Applications • Digital File Management, covering type matching, origination, retouching, logos/graphics, colour gain, A3 scanning and colour manipulation, step repeat layout, pre plate prep, colour trapping and overprints, AGFA B2 film output with PDF workflow. • Supply of files and film for litho printing, polymer printing both on flexographic and letterpress formats used on polystyrene and paper / board products in addition to paper / hessian sacks and many label printing applications. • Polymer Plates. Soft and hard photopolymer and coating plates manufactured and mounted as stereos where required for corrugated case, paper sack and label printing. Although much of the studio activity is utilised internally by ACA / Laserformes, a significant proportion of its capacity is concerned with producing mounted stereos to go hand in hand with cutting formes produced by Laserformes Scotland, and offering the corrugated case trade the “one stop shop? which has proved very successful to date. |
