During the past thirty five years or so, ACA Press Cutters Ltd has evolved from it’s origins of being a small manufacturer of formes for the local print and packaging trade, into it’s current status as a fully integrated print finishing operation with a comprehensive range of processes to offer. Based in West Central Scotland,ACA serves both the Scottish market , and a great many clients based throughout the United Kingdom. ACA’s founder and managing director, Alex McCready, has consisitently kept the company abreast of new trends and invested in new technology to match the changing needs of the market place.

Although ACA has a strong and focused managemaent team in place, it is still very firmly a family business with Alex’s wife Anne Marie and several other family members playing a combination of management and hands on roles within the company. The volatile nature of the print and packaging trade is the back drop to the downfall of many of ACA’s former competitors, whilst operating in the same environment, a combination of solid management skills, tenacity, and financial stability has allowed ACA to prosper, even in the most testing of times. ACA is, and will remain, a landmark on the map of print finishing in the UK and Ireland. |
